Medical infrared thermography provides a non-invasive and painless diagnostic tool for determination and analysis of human physiological functions related to the phenomenology of skin or outer morphological temperature distribution. The technological advances of infrared imaging, image processing and image rendition have opened up a new modality for medical application.
